Karen and Aaron Came to Visit

Did you hear?!  Karen and Aaron, Benton County Naturalists, came to visit our classroom yesterday!  Everyone gets so excited to see them pull their big totes of fun, nature-based activities into Keystone Elementary.  

They brought the book The Mitten and talked to students about what people and animals need.  One of the needs discussed was space.  We need space to live.  To show that this is a need, all students climbed into Karen and Aaron's big mitten so they could experience what it feels like to live without space, just the animals in the story.
