January Important Info - "I can..." Statements for the Week of January 4th

Welcome to 2016!  I hope you all had a happy New Year!

January Important Dates:

4th - PTO meeting at Norway @ 6:30pm
6th - 1:00 dismiss (PK-12 professional learning)
13th - 1:00 dismiss (PK-12 professional learning)
18th - NO SCHOOL (PK-12 professional learning)
27th - Tentative 100th Day of School

100th Day - 

The 100th day of school looks like it is tentatively set for January 27th.  Of course, all of this could change with one snow day.  At the primary level of elementary school, the 100th day of school is a big deal!  We do all sorts of activities to celebrate.  I will post details about this special day as the time gets closer.

Snow Gear - 

Please ensure your child brings shoes to school.  Many of them come in boots and then forget their shoes at home.  You're welcome to leave an extra pair at school if that helps.  Thanks for sending your children with hats, gloves, scarves, etc.  Winter has definitely arrived!  

School Cancellations/Delays - 

If school is cancelled or delayed, the information is posted in a variety of places.  One of the most reliable places is the Bobcat Voicelink or through the text alerts.  Info on signing up can be found HERE.  

Makerspace/Library - 

Have you seen our library since it's gotten a face-lift?  Reanna Bear, Mrs. Bear's daughter, shared her artistic abilities with us and did a few beautiful murals on the walls of the library.  Check them out in the pictures below.  We got to go to the makerspace today.  There was a lot of bracelet and necklace making going on!
