School pictures will be Monday morning at Keystone Elementary.  Please plan accordingly.  

Instagram - Mr. Junge - Water - Sweatshirt

1U is now on Instagram!  Follow BCFirst and #keyrocks via the Instagram app on any IOS or Andriod device.  One of the classroom leadership teams is responsible for taking pictures throughout the day.  This is where those pictures will be shared, so for the most part, pictures will be taken by six-year-olds. :)   I will also try to copy as many as I can to our blog.

We've had a great couple of days!  Yesterday, Mr. Junge came in and read a story to us about listening to our hearts.  It was great to hear everything that makes these first graders happy.  We discussed the idea that we are a group that enjoys many different things and are experts in different ways.  

Water bottle - Remember, your child is welcome to bring a water bottle to school.  I will send them home over the weekend to be washed.

Sweatshirt - Please send a sweatshirt for your child to keep in his or her locker.  The temperature in the classroom isn't very consistent.  Having a sweatshirt available will help ensure everyone is comfortable.

First Day of 1st Grade

We had a GREAT first day of 1st grade.  We were a busy bunch with an assembly, PBIS lessons, and then all of our classroom activities.  All in all, I think everyone had a great day and went home tired.  

Water Bottles - Students are welcome to bring them to school.  It is important they stay hydrated and it helps cut down on the lines at the fountain.  We will send them home on Fridays to be washed.
