This year is the Benton Community School District’s 50th birthday! In the past 50 years, the district has gone through many changes. This year, we move forward with another organization change. One thing that has remained over the years is the fact that Benton Community truly is a place to belong. I am beyond excited to have students in these wonderful spaces in a few short days. Below is some random information about Keystone Elementary. Some of this information is even new to me. Please let me know if you have any questions.
- Breakfast at Keystone will be served starting at 7:40am.
- Sack lunches will not be housed in the fridge. There is not enough space. Please pack an ice pack in your child’s lunch if it needs to keep cold.
- After school buses leave Keystone at 3:20pm. Two buses will go to Blairstown and one bus to Van Horne. There will not be any after school
transportation supervision in either community. Please be sure to communicate any changes in transportation to Candi (Keystone Elementary secretary) prior to 3:00pm.
- Parent Partnership Night has been scheduled for September 9th at 6:30pm. Child care will be provided.
- The office will NOT be
sending home very many notes. All reminder type of information will be posted on the district website. I will also try to blog reminders. Please get in the habit of checking the district website. If you do not have internet access, please let me know and we will make other arrangements.
